In the next slides we will look at viewing and downloading individual submissions and then at downloading submissions en masse. To view an individual student’s submission first identify the cell where the student’s row corresponds with the assignment column and hover you mouse over it. An action button will appear, click on it to reveal a menu.

A zip file containing the assignments will be made available to you to download. Right click on the link to the file and choose Save link as…

When you click on a VT link, you see a page titled “Voice Thread Account Verification”.

This means you already had a Voice Thread account under your email address, and the system is now trying to connect that existing account with your Blackboard profile.

Once logged in, you will need to open the unit for which you want to submit the assignment; and then select Assessment details from the column on the left.

Please note that depending on your unit the location where the submission links can vary. Once this section is loaded, search for the specific assignment you want to submit, the link to submit the assignment should look something like this: Click on the heading to open the submission page.

When a student has made a submission the “needs grading” icon appears. The Grade Details screen summarises a number of details about the submission such as when it was made, how many attempts have been submitted, and any feedback and scores that have already been entered. To view a student’s submission click on View Attempts.

This is a quick way to identify those who have made a submission and those who have not.
